How does downgrading my subscription affect my account?

Upon downgrading your plan, you will retain access to your current plan features until the conclusion of the existing billing period. Beginning with the next billing cycle, the available features will be modified to align with the restrictions of the lower-tier plan.

Below is an overview of how each feature is affected by the downgrade:

  • Pricing: You will pay the reduced monthly or yearly fee corresponding to the plan you choose.
  • Link management and tracking: You will retain access to the links and tracking features from your previous plan. Existing links will remain functional, and you will be able to modify expiration dates or update the destination URLs. While you can continue creating new links and tracking clicks, your usage will be subject to the limits of the new plan.
  • Collections management: When downgrading to a plan with a smaller collection limit, collections that exceed the new maximum will be deleted automatically starting with the oldest ones. You also have the option to remove collections yourself before downgrading to meet the new limit.
  • Analytics access: Your analytics will now reflect the capabilities of the lower-tier plan, including access to dashboards and historical data within the new limits.
  • Company users: The new plan restricts the number of company users. You must remove any additional users before downgrading, as the plan cannot be changed until your team size complies with the new limits.
  • User roles and permissions: Under the new plan, users will keep their roles and permissions, adjusted to fit the plan restrictions, unless you are on the free plan.
  • Support: Upon downgrading, support will follow the new plan features. Any open higher-level support cases will proceed, but instant access to second-line support will no longer be available.
  • Customer-owned domains: Customer-owned domains will still function under the new plan, but only up to the allowed limit. Any domains beyond this limit will not have SSL certificates renewed, so links using them may become unsafe. You cannot create new links with these excess domains, but previously created links will remain active.
