Does Cut0 support bulk link shortening?

Yes, Cut0 enables mass link shortening, letting you generate multiple shortened links simultaneously. This functionality is particularly helpful when handling a large volume of URLs for campaigns, projects, or other activities. Just upload your list of links, and the platform will handle them efficiently, helping you save time and effort. You can include up to 999 links in a single CSV file.

To create shortened links using bulk upload:

  1. Sign in to your Cut0 account.
  2. Open the Links section and click Bulk upload.
  1. In the Upload CSV window, choose the domain for your shortened links from the drop-down menu. You can select either the default cut0.io domain or any custom domain you’ve added to your account.
  1. Before proceeding, we suggest downloading the Table Example template. This ensures your file contains all mandatory columns and follows the required structure described below.
  • The file must include the fields:
  • longUrl
The full destination address that users will be redirected to after clicking the shortened link. This must be the complete, original URL.
  • path
The unique identifier that appears after the domain in the shortened link (also known as the slug). It allows you to customize the URL (for example, yourbrand_offer). Each value must be unique to prevent duplication.
  • tags
Keywords assigned to a link for easier categorization and filtering. Tags help organize large volumes of links and simplify management and reporting.
  • expiredAt
The date and time when the link should automatically become inactive. Once this moment is reached, the link will no longer redirect users and may display an error page instead. The expiration date must always be set to a future date and time.
  • title
A descriptive name used internally to identify the link. Choosing a clear and meaningful title makes it easier to manage multiple links. Each title must be unique.
  • The fields titlepath, and tags must not contain spaces. If you need to separate words, use an underscore (_) instead.
  1. If you downloaded the sample table, be sure to remove the placeholder data and fill it in with details of your own links according to the required format. Once completed, upload the file by either selecting it from your device or dragging and dropping it into the designated field.
  1. You will be directed to the Preview of Links page, which displays a table containing all imported links for review before publication. On this page, you can:
  • Use Search: Enter keywords or URLs to filter and find specific links within the list, making it faster to review large batches.
  • Update links via the Edit icon: Opens a form where you can modify link details, such as the path, expiration date, or tags.
  • Delete links via the Delete icon: Removes the link from the list when it is no longer required.
  1. When finished, click Publish to generate all shortened links at once. Or, click Cancel, confirm to discard the current data, and return to the previous screen to re-upload the file if needed.

A message will appear confirming the action.

Bulk upload includes a built-in validation feature. The file is verified against predefined conditions, such as:

  • The title must be unique.
  • The custom path must be distinct.
  • The expiration date must be scheduled for a future time, etc.

If a validation error occurs, a pop-up window will appear showing the specific file row and describing the issue, along with an option to download an error report.

In this situation, review and correct the data, then re-upload the file by clicking Repeat.

After the data has been successfully uploaded, you can visit the Links section to view all imported links.

You will also get a confirmation email at your primary address, which includes an attached file listing the imported links.
