Links creation process optimization and Links page updates

Cut0 Release Notes from 04.03.2026

Optimization of the link creation flow

Links page updates

Optimization of the link creation flow

The short link creation process in Cut0 has been redesigned to make it more convenient. Instead of navigating through two separate screens, a single modal is now used, bringing together all key information about the created link with the ability to edit it immediately.

From the same modal, you can also access link customization options (Deep Link, QR Code, Tags), reducing the number of steps and making the workflow faster and more streamlined.

For a detailed description of the updated link creation flow, see below.

Links page updates

The Links page has been updated with a focus on usability and data clarity. The presentation of links, dates, and numerical values is now more structured, while filtering and sorting are more predictable and easier to use.

You can now flexibly configure the set and order of columns. The Actions menu displays all available options directly, without collapsing them under an additional menu. Pagination and scrolling behavior have also been refined, making it more comfortable and consistent to work with large lists.

For a detailed description of the updated Links page, see below.

Optimization of the link creation flow: detailed description

The short link creation flow has been further streamlined to make it faster and more intuitive. Most link-related actions can now be completed directly during creation. The same improved flow is also applied when duplicating links.

How to use:

  1. Open the Links section and click Create a new link to initiate a new link creation flow.
  1. In the opened window, fill in the fields as described below:
  • Destination URL – target address the short link leads to.
  • Short Link – generated short link that redirects to the specified destination URL.
    • Domain – domain name used in the short link; selected from the list, which includes the default domain and any added custom domains.
    • Slug – unique identifier, the part of the link that comes after the domain. You can use the value generated by the service, generate a new random slug by clicking the arrow on the right (), or enter your own in the editable field.
  • Expiration Date – the date after which the short link becomes inactive and no longer redirects to the destination address. Set to 30 days by default. You can change it by clicking the Edit icon () and selecting a different date and time. You can also choose one of the preset options: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or Never Expires.
  • Link title – name used within the service for easy identification and search. It does not affect the URL itself or the redirect behavior.
  1. At this stage, you can:
  • click Create to save the new short link (this opens the Links screen), or
  • go to the Customization options (this opens the Edit link screen)
  • Customization options – a set of parameters that allow you to configure the link:
    • Deep Link – section where you can add deep link functionality to a regular short link, so it opens a specific screen or section inside the app.
    • QR code – section where a QR code for the short link is generated automatically. It’s always enabled by default, and you can download the QR code from the browser in any supported format.
    • Tags – tags make it easy to organize your short links. The number of tags you can use depends on your tariff plan. If there’s a limit, the system will show how many tags are already used and how many are available in total. If your plan has no limits, these details are not displayed.

Regardless of the selected option, the link is saved in the system and a confirmation message is displayed on the screen.

Links page update: detailed description

Display of links, dates, and numbers

Column display customization and Actions menu

Filtering and sorting

Pagination and scrolling

Display of links, dates, and numbers

  • The short link display has been updated – now it includes the destination URL mentioned under it, and a favicon of the destination site is displayed (if available), otherwise the globe icon is shown.
  • The number of clicks display has been improved to include shortened formats, for example, 1.5K instead of 1500.
  • Date display has been updated – instead of DD.MM.YYYY format, we now use DD MMM, YYYY with time indication (e.g., 23 Apr, 2025, 13:07).

Column display customization and Actions menu

  • Table customization has been added – you can choose which columns to display and adjust their order. To do this, simply open the View Column menu and select the columns from the list. The columns can be rearranged in the required order using the drag indicator ().
  • The Actions menu is now fully expanded, and the options (Duplicate, Analytics, QR Code, Edit, Delete) are available with a single click.

Filtering and sorting

  • The Created Date filter has been added, allowing you to find links by their creation date. When you click the button, a calendar opens where you can select a date range.
  • For better clarity, an arrow is displayed next to the sortable columns (Links, Created Date, Expiration Date). An upward arrow indicates ascending order, while a downward arrow indicates descending order.

Pagination and scrolling

  • Pagination has been added, allowing you to display 20, 50, 100, or 200 links per page. The total number of pages is shown based on the selected page size.

Horizontal scroll has been added, with the Links column frozen. This makes it easier to navigate wide tables while keeping the key information visible at all times, so you can scroll through additional columns without losing context.
